ASHBURN, GA (WALB) -
Albany State head coach Mike White says the Rams would sign more players and Albany State picked up three on Monday. The three signees are teammates at Turner County High School.
The Rams signed defensive back Todd Lawson. Lawson had six interceptions and he also caught six touchdown passes.
The Albany State offense also adds speedy receiver Hiawatha Parker.
Parker had more than 920 yards receiving and eight touchdown catches for the Rebels this season.
Albany State adding a fourth linebacker to their class with Denaurius Hayles.
Hayles had 98 tackles and had almost 1000 yard rushing at fullback for the Rebels.
Hayles expected to play defense at Albany State.
The three Turner County signings bring's the Albany State football recruiting class to 11.
