Colquit County, GA (WALB) - A man responsible for an armed robbery that escalated into two shoot-outs in Colquit County admits he's guilty.

23-year-old Timothy Cook pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and aggravated assault on a police officer. Cook tried to rob the Moultrie Package store on August 25th.

This surveillance video shows Cook pulling out that gun, but the store clerk got his own gun and shot back.

Later Cook got into a shootout with Norman Park police officer Sam Smith who chased him into a wooded area.

Cook was shot in the arm. He'll be sentenced in April.
