Knights season comes to early end

  Deerfield-Windsor's dream of a G.I.S.A. state soccer title ended with a 3-2 loss to Riverside Military Academy in the second round of the state playoffs at the Darton College soccer complex.

  The visiting Eagles scored all of their goals in the first half.  The Knights rallied furiously in the second half but their comeback fell one goal short.

Riverside Military advances to the final four in Macon on Thursday.  Deerfield-Windsor ends their season with a 15-3 record and their first region championship in four years.
