Albany- Hundreds of Dougherty County voters will vote in a different district, if lawmakers approve new county lines.

On Monday, county commissioners approved new redistricting maps drawn after local representatives refused to support the last map in the general assembly. The new maps move some voters from District 1 to District 5.

District 5 commissioner Art Searles was the only one to vote against the new maps.
