FLORENCE, SC (WALB) -  Francis Marion built a double digit lead early against Georgia Southwestern and held on to beat the Hurricanes 73-52 in Peach Belt action.

 Anthony Sargent had 14 points for the Hurricanes who are 8-13 and 4-10 in the Peach Belt.

 The 17th ranked Francis Marion women blasted the Lady Canes 112-68.

Brittany Reynolds had 18 points.

GSW women are 6-16 and 1-13 in the Peach Belt.
