FLORENCE, AL. (WALB) - Valdosta State most likely never had time to get the license plate of the bus that ran over them Thursday night.
North Alabama scores 22 of the first 29 points to rout the Blazers 91-68.
North Alabama outrebounded Valdosta State 55-38.
Ricardo Lewis had 17 points for the Blazers who are now 16-5 and 4-3 in the Gulf South Conference.
The women's game was closer but it was heartbreaking defeat for the Lady Blazers.
North Alabama's Kierra McCleary hit a three-pointer with one second to play to beat Valdosta State 74-73.
Sczeny Hartry had a big game for VSU with 23 points.
The Lady Blazers are 15-6 and 5-2 in the GSC.
The VSU basketball teams are at West Georgia on Saturday.
