ALBANY, GA (WALB) - National signing day maybe over but the Albany State Rams are still looking for a few more players.
Head coach Mike White pleased with the eight players the Rams have signed so far.
The Rams class has three linebackers including Cairo's Terrell Perkins.
The main focus for the Albany State coaches on the recruiting trail has been offensive line.
Rams have signed five so far including Dameron Taylor from state champion Camden County.
Mike White said. "We wanted to get some guys we felt could compete right off. Not quote a project guy who might take a year or two. We thought these guys could come in a compete right now."
Coach White says the Rams are focusing their recruiting efforts now on skill positions on offense and defense.
