ALBANY, GA (WALB) -   The front windows of two Albany businesses were shot out overnight.

Police believe the shooter used a pellet gun to shoot out windows at Cleve Wester's Tire Mart and Carquest Auto Parts on West Ogelthorpe.

Cleve Wester's security alarms went off about 12:30AM, then sounded again aroundt 6:00AM. Managers think the window was shot with a pellet gun just after midnight, setting off the first alarm, and then the alarm sounded again when the window shattered.

Carquest's alarm sounded about midnight, and they discovered the window shattered.

Both businesses think vandals were riding by and shot.
