Albany- Boy and Girl Scouts received a lesson in technology and communication at the annual Jamboree on the Air.

Scouts team up with the Albany Amateur Radio Club each year and talk to other scouts around the world using HAM radios. They can learn about other cultures and troops across the globe.

"Who we're supposed to be getting is the National Boy Scouts in Dallas, Texas, and the World Boy Scouts is in Switzerland," says five year scout Donny Snyder.

Besides making friends with other members worldwide, both the boy and girl scouts can earn merit badges using amateur radio.
