Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.More >>
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Hospital Board members were taken on a tour of the new medical tower and the bridge that connects the tower to the parking deck, and our crew got to go along.
It's the first bridge of its kind in Dougherty County. Robert Ward said, "We're really excited about the completion of the Centennial bridge. It was a very unique design, something that we don't do everyday. It was a big challenge and we're really proud of it."
The new bridge will open for pedestrian traffic into the hospital on February 9th.
