A Sylvester man is in jail, charged with kidnapping and aggravated assault.
Investigators say from 7 until 11:30 Wednesday morning 41 year old Stanley Hill beat and held his girlfriend, 31 year old Misty Hall, against her will at her home on South Washington Street.
Police say Hill kicked, punched, and choked Hall with a belt until he finally released her. Hall said she told Hill she was going to leave him.
Hill is being held at the Turner County Jail without bond.
