The Rams blew a 15 point lead in a loss to Kentucky State.
Their third loss in a span of four straight home games.
It is not the kind of momentum boost head coach Chris Cameron and his team needed with six straight games on the road.
The road though has been kind for the Rams basketball team.
They won three games last week and are back at .500 in the SIAC.
Albany State cannot rest on their laurels with three more tough road games this week at Clark Stillman and Tuskegee.
Head coach Chris Cameron says the key for the turnaround was a challenge he made to his team after that Kentucky State loss.
Chris Cameron said. "You have put yourself in the situation where you have got to go on the road and just do some tough things. That is just how life is. Life is tough but it is all dependent on the person. Are you going to go out there and handle it? Last week we went on the road and got three wins. That was very tough and now I think I have them buying into doing some tough things."
The Albany State basketball teams play at Clark Atlanta on Tuesday, Stillman on Thursday and at Tuskegee on Saturday.
