ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany convenience store owner turned the table on a would be robber. The store owner pulled a gun on him.
A little after ten Sunday morning, a man tried to grab the cash out of the register at the Mini - Mart on Stuart Avenue.
Manubhai Patel pulled the pistol he wears, and ordered the man to drop the money. The thief ran out without any money.
Patel did not want to talk to us on camera, but said he does not think the thief will return.
There have been no arrests. Police say they understand business owners protecting their property, but discourage them from using firearms.
