ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two-hundred 4-year-olds counted to 100 to encourage Superintendent Dr. Sally Whatley to join in.
They're celebrating 100-days of school at the Sylvandale Pre-K Center and kicking off pre-school registration for next year.
Last year, parents stood in long lines to secure one of the 200 spots. Parents registering children this year need to bring several documents with them.
"We like for you to bring all of the particulars that the Dougherty County School System has you to have for registration, that is of course, dental and eye screenings, your birth certificate, social security card, immunization shot records," said DCSS Pre-K Director Gloria Kendall.
Registration will begin at eight o'clock Monday at the school on Cordell Avenue.
Students who register after the 200 mark will be placed on a waiting list.
