ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany State Rams overcome a slow start to beat Miles 58-50 Thursday night.
Ryan Chester led the way with 19 points.
Chester was 5-5 from the foul line where the Rams won the game with 20 of their points coming from the charity stripe.
Albany State plays at Morehouse on Saturday.
Mistakes cost the Lady Rams in a 60-50 loss to the Miles Lady Bears.
Albany State committed 30 turnovers in their loss.
Nikia Trice did have another double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The Lady Rams next game is Tuesday at Clark Atlanta
