Local runners take short trip to Darton

January 29, 2009ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Darton cross country coach David Mann continues to keep the area's best long distance runners from making a long distance run to college.The Darton cross-country teams have signed three new runners their team this fall.

The Trojans getting two from Lee County including Brandon Skiles.

Brandon is the younger brother of former Darton runner Brittany Skiles and was an all-region selection his junior year.

Lee County's Breiona Beadie has signed to run for the Darton women's team.

Beadie was an all-region selection.

Darton cross-country also signing Adam Ross from Irwin County.
