THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Restaurants and bars are hoping Sunday's Super Bowl will boost their sales. Managers at The Mellow Mushroom in Albany say business slowed down toward the end of the year.

Business has been surprisingly steady in January, and they hope the Super Bowl will bring in the big crowds they need.

"We're hoping to blow it out of the water a little bit, just have a good crowd inside and outside. A little bit of family atmosphere in the dining room and more so getting' down to football outside."

Miller will sponsor a party on the Mellow Mushroom patio Sunday starting at five o'clock. They'll offer specials on Miller beer products and food.
