AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - The Georgia Southwestern Lady Hurricanes beat North Georgia 76-64 Wednesday night.
It snapped a 30 game losing streak to Peach Belt Conference opponents.
Brittany Reynolds led a balanced Lady Canes offense with 18 points.
Jamilah Sharp, Nadirah Gardner and Brandi Burris all had 13 points each for the GSW women.
The news was not so good for the men.
North Georgia gains revenge for GSW win in Dahlonega by beating the Hurricanes 82-75 in Americus.
Michael Moynihan led the Saints with 23 points.
Chris Rawls had 17 points for the Hurricanes (7-11, 3-8).
