ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Darton basketball coach Laura Blackwell says she cannot remember if her Lady Cavaliers team has ever started region play with four straight wins.

Darton's unbeaten region record will be tested in their fifth region game of the season.

The Lady Cavs travel to Cochran Tuesday to face a Middle Georgia team that is also unbeaten in the region and ranked 21st in the nation.

The first of two meetings was supposed to have been played in Albany.

However, the schools have switched their region games due to a scheduling conflict with Middle Georgia in February.

For a Darton squad coming off a road trip to north Georgia over the weekend, coach Blackwell believes her team has enough left in their tank to when this showdown.

Laura Blackwell said. "We are hoping we can keep the intensity level up. We are excited about the game and ready to compete. I don't think fatigue will be a factor this time."

The Lady Cavs are back at home Saturday at 2:00 p.m. against Georgia Perimeter.

After that game, Albany Tech will play Georgia Perimeter at Cavalier Arena this Saturday.
