Lee County-- Investigators hope a truck will shed light on the death of a Lee County man.
Forty-year-old Charles Unruh was found dead on the side of Kinchafoonee Creek Road Saturday night. Unruh was last seen in a Chevy truck, possibly belonging to Unruh's longtime friend Mike Tate.
Police impounded the vehicle to gather additional evidence.
Family members say Unruh and Tate left a party Saturday night after a fight broke out and Lee County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene. Just two and a half blocks away, family members say Unruh got out of the truck to walk the rest of the way home. He was found dead a short time later.
At this time, police have not ruled his death a homicide, but family members say Unruh was badly beaten and stabbed.
