MERIDIAN, MS. (WALB) - The Valdosta State men's basketball team won their third straight Gulf South Conference game.
The Blazers beat West Alabama 71-68 on Friday night.
Valdosta State is now 15-2 and 3-1 in the Gulf South Conference.
The Lady Blazers ran their GSC record to 4-0 with a 58-53 win over the Lady Tigers.
Brittany Hudson had 15 points and 15 rebounds for the Lady Blazers who are now 14-4 on the season.
The games were played at Meridian Community College in Meridian, Ms. as a precautionary reason after a gas explosion near West Alabama's Pruitt Hall on Thursday forced the games to be pushed back to Friday.
That delay has also changed Valdosta State's game at Montevallo.
The Blazers will play the Falcons on Sunday.
