ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After years of being hunted by defensive linemen in the SEC and NFL, former Georgia quarterback David Greene is looking forward to spending more time hunting.
The former Bulldog great making his first appearance as a celebrity in the Quail Unlimited Hunt.Greene says he is most likely done with football after he was released in November by the Indianapolis Colts.
With football apparently behind him, David Greene will have some more free time and he would like to spend some of it hunting.
David Greene said "The last couple of years I have been invited to go hunting a lot but just never had my hunter safety course. Never really got into to it. But I decided in December to get my hunter safety course and I went out to Arkansas and went duck hunting with a couple of buddies earlier this month. I am trying to pick it up and get into a little bit."
David Greene was drafted by Seattle in 2005 and played in New England in 2007.
