October 14, 2002

The Albany State Golden Rams dominate this week's S.I.A.C. awards after their dominating win over Tuskegee Saturday.

Quarterback Warrin major wins the offensive player of the week award.

The senior from Terrell County high school passed for 155 yards and one touchdown and ran for two more scores in the Golden Rams 40-20 win at Tuskegee.

Running back Kerenski McGhee, who is a senior from Millbrook Alabama, is the S.I.A.C.'s newcomer of the week.

McGhee caught a 52 yard touchdown pass from Warrin Major.

One person who made all of those yards and touchdowns possible was offensive tackle Rodney Magwood.

The sophomore from Savannah graded out at 98 percent against the Tigers and is the S.I.A.C.'s offensive lineman of the week.

Albany State is now 3- 3 on the season and 2-1 in conference play. The Golden Rams are back on the road Saturday night when they play Kentucky State in Frankfort. The Thorobreds are 1-5 on the season and 0-3 in the SIAC.
