Brandon McQueen hit a three pointer to put Kentucky State in front 71-69.
Scheraun King hit a jumper and was fouled for the Rams.
King hit the foul shot and the Rams led 72-71.
King hit a three-point shot with 11 seconds to play to tie the game at 75.
William Marsh scored just four seconds later to put Kentucky State up by two.
Albany State was called for a technical foul after they called a timeout when they didn't have any remaining.
The Thorobreds hit both technical foul shots to win by four points.
Brandon McQueen led Kentucky State with 22 points.
The Rams (5-9, 4-7) were led by Sean Glenn and Scheraun King in scoring with 18 points each.
Cold shooting doomed the Albany State Lady Rams in a 54-43 loss to Kentucky State Thursday.
The Lady Rams shot just 29% from the field in making only 17 field goal attempts.
The Thorobrettes were not exactly shooting lights out on their end of the court but the KSU women did force 24 Albany State turnovers.
Latrice Watkins led Kentucky State with 16 points.
Nikia Trice had 13 points for the Lady Rams who fall for a second time this season to Kentucky State.
Albany State women are 7-9 and 7-4 in the SIAC.
