Cummings earns GSC honors

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Valdosta State forward Ray Cummings has been named the Gulf South Conference player of the week.

Cummings scored 18 points in a win over West Georgia and followed it up with 14 in Saturday's win against North Alabama.

Valdosta State men are 14-3 and 2-1 in the Gulf South.

Blazers are on the road Thursday at West Alabama and Saturday at Montevallo.
