ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany woman was hit by a pickup truck while running to catch a bus on busy Dawson Road this morning.
42 year old Jackie Martin of Albany was hit around 8:30 Wednesday morning. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital where she's in good condition.
40 year old Joseph Drennen was driving the truck that hit her. He's a paramedic and treated her until the ambulance got there.
Police say the woman was at fault because she darted out in front of him.
