Darton soccer Ken Veilands is honored by his peers for another outstanding season.
Ken Veilands has been named the south region junior college coach of the year by the National Soccer Coaches Association. It is the third time in the last four years that Ken Veilands has been named coach of the year in the region.
Last season, the Darton women's soccer team was 24-1 and one and that one loss came in the national championship match.
In less than a decade, Ken Veilands has 157 wins, 26 losses and seven ties at Darton.
