ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After losing seven of eight contests, the Albany State men's basketball team picked up a much needed win Tuesday night defeating Lane College 64-50.
Albany State defeated Lane with a balanced attack.
Sean Glenn led the Rams with 11 points. Jozay King added 10 points, while Scheraun King and Jawan Bailey both added 8.
The Rams improved to 5-8 overall and 4-6 in the SIAC.
Meanwhile the Albany State women made it three wins in a row beating Lane 62-55.
Nikia Trice led the Lady Rams with 17 points. Nafeesha Frost scored 14 while Ashley Scroggins added 13.
The win improves the Lady Rams to 7-8 overall and 7-3 in the SIAC.
Both teams will host Kentucky State Thursday.
The women tip off at 5:30 followed by the men at 7:30.
