(Tuskegee, Alabama-AP) -- Marcus James and Warin Major combined for 304 passing yards, including three touchdown passes, to lead Albany State to a 40-20 win over Tuskegee today. James threw two touchdown passes for Albany State (3-3, 2-1 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference), including a 91-yard T-D pass to Clenton Rafe in the first quarter. Terrence Jones led Tuskegee (5-1 3-1), throwing for 372 yards, including two touchdown passes.
With Tuskegee leading 20-17 after halftime, Warin Major ran two yards for a touchdown with 10:33 to go in the third quarter, giving Albany State a 24-20 lead. Albany State went on to score 16 additional points, including Major's 52-yard touchdown pass to Kerenski McGhee with 3:53 left to play to make the score 40-20.
Kylin Campbell caught six passes for 107 yards for Tuskegee, including two touchdown passes in the first half. Albany State had 490 total offensive yards to Tuskegee's 354.
