Twenty-nine inmates are back in the Worth County jail, after spending two days in Tifton.
That's because Wednesday, construction workers repairing city sidewalks, accidentally hit a pipe, cutting off all water to the jail. The inmates were shipped to Tift County's jail and returned to their cells Thursday night when water was restored.
