ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The new year hasn't been kind to the Albany State men's basketball team.  A 67-60 loss to Paine College Saturday marked the Ram's 7th loss in the last 8 contests.

Scheraun King led the Rams with 21 points.

The loss drops Albany State to 4-8 overall and 3-6 in the SIAC.

The Albany State women beat Paine College 63-60 in overtime Saturday.

Nikia Trice led the lady Rams with 21 points.

The Albany State basketball teams host Lane College Tuesday. The women tip of at 5:30 followed by the men at 7:30.
