ALBANY, GA (WALB) -An Albany teenager is sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a Carrollton man at an Albany motel.

A Dougherty County jury deliberated only about an hour and 15 minutes before finding 18-year old Lyndon Johnson, Junior guilty of murder.

Prosecutors say Johnson knocked on the door to lure out 27-year old Brandon Todd at the Motel Six in East Albany in November 2007.

Todd was in town for a job promotion interview.

He was killed in a shootout with the gang of three young armed robbers.

17-year old Jimmy Teemer was shot and killed by Todd.

18-year old Patrick Johnson is also charged with this murder and will stand trial at a later date.
