ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Police are looking for the passenger of a rollover wreck on the Liberty Expressway Thursday afternoon.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to Phoebe Putney hospital and is in critical condition

At about 1 o'clock, 48-year-old Evelyn Ryals was headed north in this white Nissan pickup truck.

Ryals was trying to get onto the bypass from Clark avenue when she ran off the exit ramp and flipped two times.

"In her attempt to get back onto the expressway, in her over correcting, that's what caused the car accident. Her flipping over several times," said Phyllis Banks-Whitley, Albany Police Media Manager.

Ryals is in the emergency room at Phoebe Putney hospital in critical condition.

Police need your help to the man who was riding with Ryals.  They say he got out of the truck and into a black Hyundai Sonata and left the scene.  He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. He's white, between 48 and 50 years old, 5'11 and 215 pounds with blondish gray hair.

Police want to talk to him and the driver of the Hyundai.  If you know anything call Albany Police at 431-2100.
