ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The prosecution and defense wrapped up late Thursday afternoon in the murder trial of an 18 year old Albany man.

Closing arguments are scheduled for Friday morning.

Lyndon Johnson is charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death of a man visiting Albany for a job interview.

27-year old Brandon Todd was staying at the Motel 6 in East Albany in November 2007.

Prosecutors say Johnson knocked on the Motel door as part of a group of at least three teens who planned to rob Todd.

Defense attorneys say 17-year old Jimmy Teemer led the robbery.

Teemer and Todd both died in a shootout during the robbery.

Johnson did not testify in his defense.

The jury is expected to begin deliberations Friday afternoon.

Another defendant, 18-year old Patrick Jackson, is awaiting trial.
