Former Valdosta State quarterback Dusty Bonner may wind up playing football in the city of Atlanta after all. Bonner was one of five quarterbacks invited to work out for the Georgia Force, an arena football team based in Atlanta.
The two time Harlon Hill Trophy winner was cut by the Atlanta Falcons two months ago after signing as a free agent in April. If Bonner makes the team, he will be battling former Georgia Tech Donnie Davis for the starting job.
The Georgia Force is in just their second year of existence in the AFL, (Arena Football League) they posted a 6-8 mark in their inaugural season last year.
