ALBANY, GA (WALB) -One juror was excused from the murder trial of an Albany teenager this morning after raising questions about whether she's qualified to serve.

The Judge replaced that juror with an alternate, and selected two more alternates to sit through the trial.

The juror was selected Monday to sit on the murder trial of Lyndon Johnson. Tuesday, she said she misunderstood one question asked during jury selection.

Judge Denise Marshall excused the juror. Testimony should begin Wednesday morning. Johnson is charged in the robbery and murder of 27 year old Brandon Todd of Carrollton. He was killed in a shootout with robbers at the Motel Six in East Albany.

Prosecutors hope the murder trial can be finished by Friday.
