ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany teenager is on trial for the murder of an out of town visitor who was in Albany for a job interview.
18-year-old Lyndon Johnson Junior is charged with killing 27-year old Brandon Todd of Carrollton.
Todd was spending the night at Motel 6 on East Oglethorpe when three teens burst into his room to rob him.
Todd returned gunfire before he was killed and shot one of the robbers.
Johnson's trial is expected to last most of the week.
Monday went quickly for jurors in this case. The judge dismissed them around noon, after one of the eye-witnesses who is behind bars refused to go to the trial.More >>

Health officials are urging you to be careful around wildlife and stray animals, after a South Georgia family was attacked by a fox with rabies. This happened last Thursday on Cotton Avenue in Lake Park. A man and his dog were attacked by the fox when they went outside their house.
