ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Mitchell County man who slit his own throat after a deadly attack in June will spend the rest of his life in prison.  

39-year old Terry Bryant pleaded guilty to malice murder and aggravated battery. He kicked in the door of a mobile home in Baconton June 13th and killed his ex-girlfriend, 43-year old Linda Paschal, with a garden hoe.  

He also beat her 13-year-old daughter Jessica and attacked 59-year-old Daniel Purvis with a cordless drill.

Bryant had been released from jail hours before the brutal attacks.

He was sentenced to life plus ten years for the crimes.
