ALBANY, GA (WALB) -A 10-year old is arrested for forging a check to buy a toy at his elementary school book fair.

Dougherty County Police say the boy filled out the $14 check Thursday morning at Radium Springs Elementary School to buy a lie detector watch.

Police say the check was taken from his foster parent's check book.

The school notified the boy's foster Mother, and she called Police to file a complaint.

The boy was charged with first degree forgery and theft by taking and will have his case heard in juvenile court.
