CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - Robbers fired gunshots at a clerk and a witness during a robbery at a Camilla convenience store Friday morning.

No one was hurt and no money was stolen from the Kangaroo Express on Highway 19.  Police say 23-year-old Tyler Gray and 18-year-old Thomas Taylor ran in the store around 1:00AM.

When one of them fired a pistol in the air three times, the clerk ran out the door. The crooks couldn't get into the cash register, so they settled for lottery tickets and cigars.

Police say when the robbers ran out, they shot at the clerk and a truck driver in the parking lot.

Camilla Police arrested the suspects a few hours later.
