CAIRO, GA (WALB) - Cairo investigators are looking for a serial arsonist. They believe the same person set three homes on fire.
The latest fire damaged a home at 861 9th Avenue Northeast in Cairo late Tuesday night. Two adults and two children sleeping inside got out safely.
A block away, two homes were set on fire early Christmas Eve morning. One of those homes was destroyed.
The Cairo Police and Fire Departments are working with the Georgia Fire Marshal's Office on the investigation. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered in the case.
