Savannah, Ga (WALB) - Armstrong Atlantic delivered an early knockout of Georgia Southwestern in an 85-68 win in Peach Belt Conference action.

The Pirates jumped out to a 20-4 lead in the first half and were never really threatened.

GSW did cut the deficit to 10 to star the second half but an Armstrong run quickly pushed the lead back to 18.

Chris Rawls led the Canes (5-6, 1-3) with 21 points.

T.T. Hall was Armstrong's top scorer with 24 points and Tifton's Dwight Tolbert had 12 points.

The news not better for the GSW women who fall 78 to 60.

The game was a two point affair until a 11-0 run by Armstrong late in the first half.

Brandi Burris led the GSW women (5-6, 0-4) with 18 points and Lacey Willis and Ashely Duhart both had 18 for the Armstrong.
