TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Eight people were arrested after they attacked and robbed a man in Tifton.

37-year-old Tony Bell told police that he was walking home from work along Highway 82 Friday morning when the group attacked him.

Investigators say the group brutally hit and kicked Bell and took his cell phone and $50 in cash.

Bell was treated at Tift Regional Medical Center and released.

The males ranging between the ages 14 and 21 were arrested shortly after Bell called for help.
