Smithville- Troopers charge the driver of a truck involved in a fatal accident Tuesday. Twenty-three year-old, Francisco Javier Sosa, of Sharpsburg, Georgia, faces a vehicular homicide charge.

Sosa was driving on U-S 19, north of Smithville, when the truck veered off the road and hit a tree. Forty-year-old, Romero Marcelino, was killed.

A second passenger, 23-year-old, Filiberto Hernandez, was injured and is expected to be released from the hospital Friday. Troopers are still looking into the cause of the accident.
