More arrests in gang shooting

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two more people have been charged in connection with a gang-related shooting that wounded two teenagers.

Albany Police arrested Albert Whitfield and Anterio Anderson while serving no knock warrants at 820 South Shadowlawn and 1105 West Gordon Avenue. They also searched a home at 1920 West Oglethorpe Boulevard. During those searches they also recovered six guns, at least one of which had been reported as stolen.

Whitfield and Anderson have both been charged with aggravated assault and gang participation. Two teens were shot as they walked along West Gordon Avenue Saturday night. Both are recovering.

These two arrests come after five other young men, including a 16-year old, were charged in this case. Police have not said who they think fired the shots.
