Colquitt- For ten years, "Swamp Gravy" has celebrated South Georgia history. Each season cast members, who are your average Colquitt residents put on a new play.

Each show shares true stories that originated in Miller County. Cast members of "Swamp Gravy" say the play has brought in a huge amount of revenue to the city, and most of all, it's united the community across color lines.

Georgia Secretary of State, Cathy Cox, was state representative when "Swamp Gravy" began, and she says it's helped many people gain jobs and helped the community grow and prosper.

Even though the economic prosperity of the play is astounding, residents say it's amazing at how their small community has gathered together to do big things.
