LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - An accident on a piece of farm equipment sent a man in Lee County to the hospital with serious injuries.

Around 2:00 PM Monday afternoon Lee County deputies and paramedics rushed to a farm off Laramore Road where a man fell of a cotton combine.

Investigators say while he was cleaning the combine he fell 30 feet to the ground. He sustained serious head injuries and wasn't breathing.

EMT's were working to resuscitate him while they transported him to Phoebe Putney.

We don't know the man's name yet. We'll continue to work on this story and hope to have new details at eleven.
