ATLANTA, GA (WALB) - Jerious Norwood scored two touchdowns to lead the Atlanta Falcons to a 31-27 win over the St. Louis Rams.
The win clinches the number five playoff spot for the Falcons after Carolina beat New Orleans to win the NFC South division title.
Falcons were down 14-10 with :30 in the first half and Norwood returned a kick 92 yards.
Two plays later, Norwood took a direct snap and scored on an eight-yard run to give the Falcons a 17-14 halftime lead.
Rams were leading 27-24 when Norwood ran off a 45-yard touchdown run to give the Falcons the win.
Atlanta will play at Arizona next Saturday at 4:30 p.m. on NBC and WALB.
Colts will play at San Diego at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Sunday starts with the Ravens and Dolphins in Baltimore at 1:00 p.m. and the Eagles and Vikings play at Minnesota at 4:30 p.m..
