ALBANY, GA (WALB) - South Georgia Wildcats linebacker Alvin Ray Jackson will be playing in Albany in the 2009 AF2 season.
But the Albany will be in New York.
The former Albany State Ram has been assigned to play for the Albany Firebirds.
In his third season in the AF2 league, Alvin Ray Jackson found his position at linebacker where he intercepted three passes and recovered five fumbles.
Jackson scored six touchdown in ten games last season and three were on defense.
Jackson becomes the third Wildcat player to sign with another AF2 team.
Last week former Wildcats quarterback Andrico Hines and receiver Buchie Ibeh signed with the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings.
