Thomasville-  A man who used to lock people up finds the shoe on the other foot.

Twenty-seven -year-old Reginald Fortener was arrested Tuesday in Thomas County. He's accused of getting paid by jail visitors to smuggle smoking tobacco and cigarettes inside the jail.

Fortener was charged with four counts of Bribery and one count of violating oath of office.

In May, Fortener resigned from Grady County jail in Cairo, after an internal investigation, and went to work for the City of Thomasville.
